Sewing Centres conduct Practical Examination

An important component of Aashray Anbhiyan's community involvement and empowerment strategy is the community based tailoring centres where young women and girls learn the basics of tailoring, an important skill that can help them to supplement their livelihoods.

The final examinations are being conducted in the 6 tailoring centres and the chief examiner is the Director Sister Dorothy Fernandes.
Aashray Abhiyan runs centres at TV Tower, Meena Bazaar, Digha, Khojai Imli, Sarishtabad, and Khan Mirza localities.
On the 31st of March, the successful candidates will receive certificates at a special ceremony to be conducted at St. Xavier's School in Gandhi Maidan.
