On the occasion of World Environment Day, we organized a rally from Raghunath School, Kankerbagh to Patliputra Indoor Stadium, in collaboration with the vendors and urban slum communities at Gayatri Mandir, Malaai Pakkdi.
The message was to care for our Mother Earth and preserve a safe planet for future generations.
The weather was really warm at 34 degrees Celsius, but our brave-hearts didn't falter, enthusiastically bearing banners and spreading awareness about conserving water and planting saplings.
Additionally, we gathered at Bhoothnath Sewing Centre and, together with the children, young women, and the community at Kachiva, we raised awareness among the local residents as we marched in the rally.
Earth day was also celebrated at the Saristabad centre. The young people sketched pics of what kind of world they would you love to have: motivating, proclaiming for a safer planet.
We encouraged people to plant trees, to examine our lifestyle patterns, and to use natural resources responsibly, aiming to save our planet for the next generation and to live sustainably.
