On September 21, 2026, in observance of the International Day of Peace, Aashray Abhiyan organized an interreligious prayer gathering at Patel Golambar in Chitkohra, Patna. The event brought together approximately 100 participants, predominantly women from four of the organization's focus settlements of migrant and unorganized workers , to collectively advocate and pray for global harmony.

Event Proceedings and Rituals
The ceremony spanned one and a half hours, anchored by Dilip Kumar. It commenced with the lighting of a symbolic fire, which was meticulously kept burning throughout the duration of the event to represent the enduring light of peace. The gathering also observed a two-minute silence to honor and remember all individuals who have lost their lives to war and violence around the world.
Interfaith Representation and Cultural Program
A core focus of the event was promoting unity across different faiths. Representatives from five major religious communities read passages from their respective scriptures:
Hindu Community: Uma Daftaur
Sikh Community: Jira Singh Bagga
Muslim Community: Maulana Maubsir Alam
Christian Community: Dorothy Fernandes
Buddhist Community: Dharmendra
These scripture readings were woven together with musical performances, creating a deeply prayerful atmosphere.

The participants sang "Tu Ram Hai, Tu Rahim Hai" and "O Jatan Kijiye," accompanied by the music of Charles Vaz, specifically "Sarva Jeevam Sukham."
The serene and unified environment captured the attention of the local community, with many passersby slowing their vehicles to observe and listen to the proceedings.

The prayer meet drew to a close with a collective gesture of goodwill, as all participants stretched out their hands to send positive blessings of peace to everyone across the globe. The gathering was officially dismissed following the singing of the National Anthem.
